All On Four

If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of having several missing teeth, you may find that you experience a great deal of frustration and loss of confidence as a result. Missing teeth can be a contributing factor to some other dental health problems and can also have significant effects on your overall well-being. Patients with this condition should take steps to replace their missing teeth as soon as possible to ensure that good oral health is maintained and the overall quality of life is improved. But apart from dentures, what are the options for replacing several missing teeth?

While dentures are a tried and true solution for many patients who are missing more than one tooth, they don't always provide the level of comfort or confidence that leads you to be fully satisfied with your treatment. Fortunately, advances in dental science and technology have led to the development of a better solution for the replacement of multiple teeth, which provides many more results and many advantages over other treatment options. This solution is known as the All-on-4 dental implant.

What are All-on-4 Dental Implants?

All-on-4 system, such as suction or adhesives to denture prostheses simple natural paste replacement teeth that are more stable and reliable than traditional methods and provides a secure connection for solid teeth is a combination of different methods and technologies. The All-on-4 uses a set of fixed dental implants embedded in patients' jaws to provide a sturdy platform that holds the replacement set of teeth in place. For this reason, All-on-4 is often also referred to as a type of ‘implant-supported dentures’, although this is a broad term that also covers other styles of replacement teeth.

Dental implants used in an all-on-4 treatment procedure are slightly different from a regular dental implant, which is designed to replace a single tooth. The part of the implant that is glued inside the jawbone is essentially the same, but the upper open part of the implant replaces the artificial tooth of a regular implant with a special cap-shaped tip. These four tips are used to provide a physical connection between the jaw and the artificial teeth, which have four sets of matching Decanters on the underside. This firm, physical connection between implants and new teeth gives the patient a much more natural feeling when Decking their teeth, especially when chewing or talking.
